sera joins UN Global Compact

Immenhausen. sera Group is pleased to announce that it has joined the United Nations Global Compact Initiative - a voluntary leadership platform for the development, implementation and disclosure of responsible business practices.

With this announcement, sera is proud to join thousands of other companies around the world who are committed to creating the world we all want through responsible business practices.

The UN Global Compact is a call for companies around the world to align their operations and strategies with ten universally accepted principles in the areas of human rights, labour standards, environmental protection and anti-corruption, and to take action in support of the UN goals and themes contained in the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

The UN Global Compact was launched in 2000 and is the world's largest sustainability initiative with more than 15,000 companies and 3,000 signatories from over 160 countries and more than 70 local networks.

"In line with our commitment to these principles, we are proud to continue on our path as a responsible environmental technology company. We always act according to our company motto: We create added value for people and the environment," notes Stefan Merwar, Head of Marketing.

By participating, sera is setting an example and committing to the ten principles of the UN Global Compact and the global sustainability goals (SDGs). In future, the sera Group's profile as a participant in the initiative can be viewed on the UN Global Compact website, as can the sera Group's sustainability activities.
