In the scientific selection process, sera was particularly convincing in size category C (over 200 employees) in the "External Orientation / Open Innovation" category. sera is one of the top innovators for the third time.
Honoured for innovative strength and future orientation
The sera Group impressed the jury of the innovation competition in all five categories: Innovation-promoting top management, innovation climate, innovative processes and organisation, external orientation/open innovation and innovation success.
"The renewed award as TOP 100 Innovator is a great honour for us and at the same time a confirmation of our continuous efforts in the area of research and development," says Carsten Rahier,
President and Executive Chair of the sera Group. "Innovation is an integral part of our corporate culture and the key to our success."
The sera Group is placing a particular focus on the development of innovative solutions in the field of hydrogen technology. "Hydrogen is an important energy source of the future and we see great potential in this market," says Rahier. "We are proud to make a contribution to the energy transition with our products and services."
The jury also emphasised the promotion of young talents at sera: students write their theses at sera, are involved in development projects and take on responsibility, for example in trainee projects or the annual "sera Social Day" for children and young people. With a trainee ratio of over 12%, sera is well above the industry average. Because innovation needs fresh ideas.
TOP 100 seal as an incentive for the future
Being honoured as a TOP 100 Innovator is both an incentive and an obligation for the sera Group. "We will continue to do everything we can to develop innovative and future-orientated solutions in the future," says Rahier. "Our goal is to continue to be one of the leading companies in our markets."
