sera forest
A place where memories grow
A shared idea gave rise to a project that brings together nature, community and a sense of connection.
sera laid the foundation in 2025 with the first 79 trees. The 80th tree was added to mark the company’s 80th anniversary. The sera Forest now comprises more than 1,000 additional trees. It grows by at least one more tree with every financial year.
In partnership with the town of Immenhausen, local residents can also plant a tree on special occasions. This creates a place of remembrance that holds significance far beyond the company itself.
The sera Forest symbolises regional solidarity, long-term thinking and the idea of creating something lasting together – tree by tree.
The sera Social Day – Working together
Once a year, trainees and managers work together at social organisations in the region.
The sera Social Day offers the opportunity to gain new perspectives, take on responsibility and make a joint contribution to society. At the same time, it strengthens team spirit within our company.
sera Future Challenge - Shaping the future together
The sera Future Challenge is an initiative of the sera Group in collaboration with MT Melsungen. School pupils develop their own ideas and projects addressing social, technical and environmental issues.
The Challenge promotes creativity, teamwork and independent thinking. The most compelling projects will be recognised with awards and given the opportunity to be further developed.
The next sera Future Challenge will launch next year. All information on registration and the latest dates will be available in good time here on our website and on our social media channels.
sera Handball Day & Handball Camps
Exercise brings people together
Together with the professionals from MT Melsungen, we inspire children to enjoy exercise, team spirit and fair play.
At the sera Handball Day, children take part in a variety of training sessions, learn the basics of handball and meet the MT Melsungen players in person.
We also support the sera Handball Camps, where children spend several days developing their sporting skills alongside experienced coaches.
Through our commitment, we aim to inspire children to take up sport and support youth development in our region.
Support Vanessa Grimm
Promoting excellence. Connected to the region.
As a company, we feel a strong connection to our region. That is why, as well as supporting clubs, we also support individual athletes.
One such athlete is heptathlete and Olympian Vanessa Grimm.
She comes from North Hesse and is now one of Germany’s top athletes in the combined events. With her determination, commitment and continuous development, she embodies values that also characterise our company.
sera Charity Golf Cup
Making a difference together
The sera Charity Golf Cup combines sport, socialising and community engagement.
The tournament brings together customers, partners and staff, creating an opportunity for personal interaction in a special atmosphere. At the same time, it raises funds for social projects.
The proceeds from the Charity Golf Cup go to the Rahier Foundation. In this way, the tournament combines sporting competition with the shared aim of supporting social projects.
For sera, the Charity Golf Cup is an expression of our regional ties and our commitment to society. Together with our partners, we want to take responsibility and provide support where help is most needed.
