A place where memories take root
An idea that combines nature, community and responsibility has given rise to a living project for the future - and it continues to grow year after year. sera laid the foundation stone with the first 79 trees in 2025, and the 80th tree was planted to mark the company's 80th anniversary. Since then, over 1,000 more trees have been planted and every year at least one more tree is added for a new company year.
Thanks to the cooperation with the town of Immenhausen, people outside the company can also plant trees on special occasions. In this way, the sera forest becomes a shared place of remembrance that has significance beyond the company premises.
The sera forest is more than just a planting project. It stands for a sustainable future, regional solidarity and for turning ideas into real roots - tree by tree, year after year.
The sera Social Day - working together, doing good
The sera Social Day brings our trainees and managers together once a year to get involved in social projects. The aim is to put themselves in different roles, take on different tasks and at the same time make a lasting contribution to society. The sera Social Day is more than just a one-off event - it is an integral part of our corporate culture.
sera Future Challenge - Shaping the future together
The sera Future Challenge is an initiative in cooperation with the Bundesliga handball team MT Melsungen. The aim is to encourage young talents to develop innovative ideas for a sustainable future.
The competition is aimed at school pupils. The focus is on topics such as environmental and climate protection, technological innovation and social responsibility. Participants present their own concepts and projects that can make a positive contribution to a sustainable future.
The best ideas are honoured and given the chance to be developed further and turned into real projects.
Exercise, team spirit and lots of fun: sera handball day and sera handball camps
At the sera Handball Day, we get children moving together with the professionals from MT Melsungen and convey team spirit and enjoyment of sport.
In various training sessions, the children train with the professionals, learn the basics of handball and experience how important motivation, team spirit and fair play are. In addition to the training sessions, there is time for questions, autographs and personal encounters with the players.
In addition to the action day, we also support the sera handball camps, where children can develop their skills over several days under the guidance of professional coaches.
The sera Handball Day is part of our commitment to sport, education and the region - and is a special highlight for us every year.
Support Vanessa Grimm
True to our motto: "We create added value for people and the environment", we take our responsibility for our region and our environment seriously and therefore support athletes from the region. In addition to the professional handball players of MT Melsungen, this also includes the German heptathlete and Olympic participant Vanessa Grimm.
Vanessa Grimm comes from our region.
Today, she is one of Germany's top all-around athletes and has established herself on the national and international stage with consistently strong performances. Her development is characterised by athletic versatility, high competitive strength and continuous improvement in performance.
sera Charity Golf Cup
Precision, passion and social commitment
For sera, precision is more than just a technical requirement - it is part of our corporate culture.
In the development of innovative solutions, the production of high-quality systems and the cooperation with our customers, precision, responsibility and enthusiasm for details take centre stage.
The sera Charity Golf Cup shows that precision and passion can also be combined in social commitment. At the same time, the tournament offers the opportunity to make the sera Group visible regionally and to present its values - reliability, quality, innovative spirit and social responsibility - in a sporting setting.
In keeping with this attitude, the tournament is also played for a good cause. The proceeds will go to the Rahier Foundation.
