Modular Energy System - Efficient hydrogen compression for sustainable energy solutions
The compressor stations in the Modular Energy System (MES) series are essential components for decentralised energy supply solutions in neighbourhoods and industry. They compress hydrogen for long-term storage and thus enable an independent and emission-free energy and heat supply - ideal for self-sufficient applications such as emergency power solutions or the continuous supply of hydrogen for heat and power generation.
The task of sera HYDROGEN
sera HYDROGEN develops and supplies the pressure boosting solution of the Modular Energy System. This ensures the targeted compression of hydrogen to increase the energy density and thus enables storage in high-pressure tanks. The system can be flexibly integrated into existing energy infrastructures - with hydrogen sources such as electrolysers or other generation systems upstream and storage systems or consumers downstream.
Technical functionality
The Modular Energy System consists of up to four AG series reciprocating compressors connected in parallel. This modular design allows flexible adaptation to different requirements - from small applications to large storage and supply solutions. Compression takes place as required to ensure maximum efficiency. Optionally, the system can be equipped with additional instrumentation and an intelligent control system to ensure optimum operational management.
Thanks to the scalable solution from sera HYDROGEN, hydrogen is efficiently prepared for long-term storage and is available at all times for a reliable, sustainable energy supply.
