Removal of chemicals from containers
In the food and beverage industry, chemicals are stored centrally in concentrate rooms - usually in large storage tanks up to five metres high. As required by law, the chemicals are extracted exclusively from the top, for example in double-walled tanks or those in drip pans. sera offers sophisticated solutions that enable safe, space-saving and efficient pumping. A siphon vessel at the highest point and the integrated suction aid in the sera dosing systems ensure trouble-free operation. The well thought-out design with pulsation damper enables even delivery, even over long distances. Dosing can optionally be precisely monitored via a flow meter. In addition to stationary tanks, customised plastic containers with individual volumes can also be realised. Whether alkalis, acids or disinfectants - sera systems ensure reliable handling even with demanding media and contribute to safe, controlled and economical operation.

Preparation of caustic soda from solids
When preparing caustic soda from solids, an exothermic reaction occurs with temperatures of up to 95 °C - a process that requires special safety measures. The sera caustic soda preparation station has been specially developed to provide the best possible protection for users and at the same time ensure efficient processing. The caustic soda flakes are fed into a stainless steel container via a screw conveyor from a safe distance, without the need for direct contact with the hot area. This significantly increases work safety. The station has a powerful bag emptying system (approx. 1,000 kg/h), an electric agitator, temperature and fill level indicator and a siphon overflow. Versions for big bags, suction devices, storage containers or transfer stations are optionally available. The sera solution enables the safe, controlled preparation of NaOH solutions with concentrations of 20 to 50 % - ideal for use in the food and beverage industry.
